SVDM INVITED TO EXHIBIT AT THE KIM DONALDSON GALLERY

Internationally renowned artist Kim Donaldson has invited Schalk van der Merwe and personally handpicked 6 pieces to be exhibited at the opening of his new gallery in Franschhoek.

Kim has a passion for Africa and has had massive success in Europe andthe Americas with his wildlife studies. His passion for the wildlife of Africa led him to write a book "Africa, An Artist's Journal" detailing his travels and experiences that give him the reference for his beautiful paintings.

He recently returned to South Africa and opened a new gallery, where he wanted not only his work,

but the work of other South African artists to be displayed as well.

The official opening is 9 February 2014 at The Yard, 38 Huguenot Street, Franschhoek.
